Seasons's Greetings!

The end of the year holiday season is known by many as the season of joy and gladness, and people who uphold this belief are right to feel this way. During this season, people gather together to enjoy each other's company and share their gifts and good wishes with one another.

Most importantly, this is the only holiday season that commemorates the first advent of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was the most influential person that has ever walked on this world. Truly, the birth of Jesus Christ was the most important event that has ever occurred on planet Earth. In fact, the impacting effects of this event were so grand, that historians chose it as a landmark to splice history into two parts: BC and AD.

Jesus came down from heaven to save humanity from sin. Many people knew Him as the baby of Bethlehem, but this baby [Jesus] grew into a man who dedicated His entire life to serve others. His life was a living lesson about the will and character of our heavenly Father. Jesus blessed multitudes of people and taught them about the goodness of God and the truths of God's Kingdom.

Christ comforted the afflicted, healed the sick, and brought the dead back to life. His benevolent deeds and love were part of His mission and plan to reconcile the human race with the heavenly courts. Sadly, He was afflicted, rejected, and crucified by those He had come to save. However, death could not keep Jesus on the ground for long because in three days after His crucifixion, Jesus Christ rose again! Then, He went back to heaven to prepare a place for those who love and believe in Him.

Today, as we celebrate His life, let us remember the example of generosity, kindness, forgiveness, and love that Jesus has bestowed onto us.

Surely, many perils, trials, and difficulties threaten to smother the flames of love that God has bestowed unto us through Jesus Christ. However, if we remain strong amidst the difficulties, if our faith and moral values remain unwavering despite the waves of uncertainties and misfortunes that have hit the world, and strive to abide in the Lord through faith, the Almighty will empower us wisdom and strengths to endure our troubles and trials.

Therefore, let us celebrate the blessings of this season despite the challenges and adversities and follow the example of love and generosity towards others that Jesus endowed onto us.

Undeniably, many the insurgence of chronic and deadly diseases, and increment of misery, crime, violence, destruction, and many other evils are shaking humanity mercilessly; but Jesus has promised to give this earth the biggest makeover ever.

The holy Word tells us in Revelations 21:1-5 that one day, the Lord will make all things new again. He will do away with wars, crimes, griefs, sorrows, pain, sickness, death, and all other forms of evil. Then, we will live happily with Him forevermore.

Meanwhile, Jesus wants us to take refuge in Him. He can ease our anxieties and supply for our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Let us trust in Him and He will reward out trusting faith with abundance of peace and gladness that will keep our hearts afloat when everything else seems to be falling apart. This is my Christmas wish for everyone.

My wish is also for the souls of all of those who lean in the Lord's everlasting arms. May they find gentle peace and rest from their troubles. I also wish that all social and civil conflicts, wars, crimes, violence, and all other causes of unhappiness may cease forever. Lastly, my wish is for all of us; that we all live peacefully with our loved ones, and that we all have a very merry Christmas and a prosperous 2024.

Have a very Merry Christmas and tons of happiness through this holiday season and always!!
